The Yoga Story
    As time moves forward, more and more people are experiencing the benefits of yoga.  This timeless form of exercise and meditation offers virtually unlimited potential for one's body and mind.  Yoga's history can be traced back to as early as 3000 B.C.  Undoubtedly, there are secrets within a practice and teaching which has been around for so long. 
In the very beginning, yoga started more as sacred scripture and a belief in achieving enlightenment beyond the physical body.  Over time, it has developed into a comprehensive practice used to strengthen one's body, mind, and spirit. 
People are more familiar today with the practice of the physical asanas, or postures.  These postures were originally intended to allow the body to sit in meditative states for hours and sometimes even days.  By practicing yoga and by bringing the teachings into our everyday lives, we will find ourselves healthier, livelier, and more content.
